RMS Consulting

RMS Consulting Features in NZ Security Magazine

RMS Consulting(training.rmsconsulting.ie) features in the June/July 2010 issue of the NZ Security Magazine, the voice of the Security Industry in New Zealand for 10 years.  RMS Consulting met with them during their visit with the Irish Security Industry Assocation in March, 2010.

During that visit RMS Consulting met with leading Security Industry stakeholder to share the Irish experience of regulating the Irish Security Industry and how online training delivery can minimise training costs associated with the minimum standards of training passed into legislation for the New Zealand Security Industry.

RMS Consulting also met with the New Zealand Rugby Union and Red Badge, a leading event stewarding company to discuss the training needs of staff and volunteers for the up and coming Rugby World Cup, 2011. Preparations are well under way for the staging of this event.  Both are currently reviewing our "International Spectator Safety Course" and the newly launched terrorism awareness course "Terrorism & Our Changing World".

Sean Griffin, Strategic Partner at RMS Consulting was "energised to hear the positive comments concerning Irish security staff that Redbadge had previously employed and they would gladely hire more. I cant remember Mary Harney coming home with any news from New Zealand and definitely not job offers or exports.  If I am wrong here I apologise."

We have now partnered with the leading security training company in New Zealand, offerign their National Diploma in Security. Our aim is to grow our network to include more of the developed world, purely because if you dont have broadband we cannot assist you since all of the courses offered through RMS Consulting are online courses, delivered flexibly 24/7 via the Internet.

RMS Consulting has also approached Project Griffin in the UK, a police initiative to protect UK cities and communities from the threat of terrorism. Our new course "Terrorism & Our Changing World" has been developed to address a global need for training in this area.  Not many people know this but pre-911, the IRA held the record for the deadliest attack in? terms of financial damage in history with the 1996 Manchester Bombing. The big difference between then and now is nobody died.
